Job Summary
Program Manager role leading a multi-disciplinary public health data management and analytics program for CDC under Leidos Federal & State Health. Provides overall program leadership, contract management, staffing oversight, and customer engagement with a primary interface to CDC leadership, CORs, technical leads, and stakeholders. Responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, reporting of contract activities across multiple projects and task areas; managing scope, schedule, staffing, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction; overseeing onboarding, knowledge transfer, and transition-out activities; coordinating across CDC branches and external partners; developing project management and staffing plans, risk registers, status reports, and performance metrics; overseeing subcontractor performance; leading recruitment and workforce planning; facilitating government-to-technical-team communications; supporting QA; identifying efficiency improvements; monitoring public health data modernization trends; supporting contract growth and future opportunities. Requires U.S. Citizenship; Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of relevant federal/public health program management experience; PMP or equivalent; remote work with periodic travel to CDC facilities, Atlanta, GA area preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, or related field
- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience managing complex Federal health, public health, scientific, research, data management, analytics, informatics, or information technology programs
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams supporting Federal agencies
- Experience serving as primary customer interface for senior Government stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience managing scope, schedule, staffing, quality, risk, and budget performance
- Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous projects, stakeholders, and deliverables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing strategic plans, operational plans, management reports, and executive briefings
- Experience leading transition planning, onboarding, staffing continuity, and workforce management activities
- PMP certification or equivalent program/project management experience
