Job Summary
Oversee logistics and supervise site staff and teaching artists at assigned Kids' Orchestra afterschool program locations. Communicate with parents and school administrators regarding concerts, calendars, and student behavior while maintaining accurate attendance data via Jackrabbit Class. Manage on-site supplies, distribute snacks, and generate bi-weekly paperwork including rosters and attendance sheets. Assist with student recruitment, equipment distribution, and implementing the Second Step SEL curriculum. Interface with community partners to strengthen organizational bonds and occasionally lead committees or attend rhythm meetings. Work some evenings and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in music, education, training, social work, human services, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in education and positive youth development providing school based, afterschool and/or summer related programming
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based services such as Microsoft SharePoint and Google Drive
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
- Occasional evening and weekend commitments required
Desired Qualifications
- Masters' Degree preferred
- Experience with CRM and/or Jackrabbit Class a plus
