Job Summary
Lead a multi-discipline team through the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases of utility and industrial programs, managing quality assurance, procurement, planning, and safety to meet budget and schedule objectives. Prepare Program Initiation and Management Plans, analyze variances, and execute corrective actions while overseeing scheduling and cost controllers to ensure accurate project budgets. Monitor SPI and CPI performance indicators as decision drivers, identifying risks, resolving problems, and implementing improvements through regular audits and trend analysis. Interface with executive sponsors and stakeholders to capture requirements, develop resource retention plans, and drive efficiencies across Avangrid objectives. Hybrid schedule requiring three days in the Binghamton, NY office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Ten (10) years or more in large scale projects Program Management for Utility business
- Program Management Professional Certification (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Gas-Hydro and OSG
- Strong project management skills and a strategic perspective
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients
- Hybrid Schedule- Must report to the office 3x a week
