Program Manager, Intern Experience

Job Summary

Own the operational delivery of the internship lifecycle, managing onboarding, cohort events, mentorship touchpoints, and offboarding across multiple US sites. Execute against established plans while coordinating logistics, vendor relationships, and communications to ensure consistent program execution. Monitor metrics including survey responses, participation rates, and conversion signals to report status and flag risks for stakeholders. Serve as the primary operational point of contact for interns, managers, and mentors, resolving escalations and unblocking issues to maintain program health. Identify friction points to propose improvements and apply AI-enabled tools for efficiency in content generation and scheduling.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience (including military)
  • Experience owning end-to-end delivery of a defined program or workstream, including planning, execution, tracking, and closeout
  • Demonstrated use of data and metrics to report on program health and drive improvements
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to give clear status updates and escalate issues with context
  • Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to prioritize across competing demands and deliver on tight timelines
  • Comfort operating with some ambiguity and taking initiative without waiting for direction
  • U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
  • Blue's Standard Background Check
  • Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Ser...
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with internship, apprenticeship, or early-career program operations
  • Familiarity with TA systems and tooling (ATS, CRM, survey platforms, reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Smartsheet)
  • Experience coordinating programs across multiple US sites
  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools to program operations, content, or communications
  • Event and logistics management experience at scale
