Job Summary
Oversee administrative operations and supervise case management and line staff for the Interim Housing Program, ensuring successful performance-based outcomes and high-quality service delivery. Provide crisis intervention, triage, and facility safety oversight while managing intake processes to fill open beds with appropriate referrals. Lead interdisciplinary teams in developing effective client relationships using trauma-informed care principles, facilitate weekly case conferencing, and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports. Manage budgets, develop programming, and ensure compliance with agency policies and funder documentation standards. Work with housing and city partners to match vulnerable individuals to suitable housing options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a nonprofit setting at an agency that provides services to individuals who have a history of homelessness, mental illness, or are dually diagnosed
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience providing Case Management services to homeless population required
- Skilled in non-violent crisis intervention
- Demonstrated knowledge of issues faced by the population served
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, teambuilding and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work independently and creatively
- Current, valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to provide some evening and weekend hours to ensure continuity of care
- On-call 24/7 is a requirement
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database applications
- Able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
Desired Qualifications
- Masters' degree in mental health field (Social Work, MFT, or Psychology)
- At least two (2) years of leadership/management experience preferred in an Interim Housing site
