Job Summary
Provide vision and leadership to Resident Services Staff by hiring, training, and conducting regular supervision and annual performance reviews. Develop and implement program policies and procedures in collaboration with the Program Director, while updating training manuals and facilitating weekly, monthly, and quarterly staff meetings. Coordinate monthly schedules for 24-hour staffing, review ShiftNote loggings, and coach staff on best practices. Submit narrative and outcome-based reports to the Program Director for funder review and represent Catholic Community Services to funders, city representatives, and neighborhood associations. Maintain regular office hours and respond to after-hours emergencies as part of an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- BA degree
- Progressively responsible experience serving homeless populations, particularly adults with mental illness and/or substance use disorders
- Two years of supervisory experience with proven ability to supervise multi-shift program
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable understanding of and commitment to the principles of Housing First and Harm Reduction
- Commitment to developing and safekeeping a workplace which values and supports a culturally diverse workplace
- Ability to work within the mission, goals and service objectives of Catholic Community Services
- Ability to regularly push, pull, lift and/or carry supplies up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle/feel/type, operate office machinery and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to regularly respond to after-hours emergencies and share on-call responsibility
- Ability to work evening or weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- Substitute Qualifications: A combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the requirements of the position may be substituted for the BA degree
