Job Summary
Program Manager II to manage a large program or multiple programs at Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA), overseeing resources, subcontractors and community partners, aligning activities with grant/budget requirements, and driving service delivery. Responsibilities include program development and budgeting, policy/procedural planning, contingency planning, supervising program operations and case management coordination, staff training and development, ensuring accurate documentation in hard and electronic health records, coordinating across programs, monitoring service quality, reporting to management and funders, budget preparation and resource allocation, and community outreach. The role requires on-site leadership, collaboration with funders and community partners, and strong compliance with mandated reporting and program requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work (or related discipline) or combination of relevant education and experience (4 years).
- 4 years of experience in Social Services Program Management, Coordination or Supervision
- Minimum of 3 years direct experience in Staff Management (Homeless Services, DMH and/or SUD programs)
- Budget management/oversight experience
- Experience managing programs with over 10 staff
- Ability to pass fingerprint clearance and background checks
