Job Summary
Manage complex aircraft seat programs from sales handover to closure, overseeing cost, timeline, scope, and quality targets while mentoring less experienced Program Managers. Develop full-scale project plans in MS Project, negotiate due date changes with OEMs and customers, and coordinate budget adjustments. Lead team meetings, resolve dependencies, and supervise BFE activities including order placement and IFE testing. Interface with OEM contacts, prepare status reports, and conduct post-mortems to drive lessons learned. Maintain program documentation, audit files, and presentation materials for technical reviews.

- ability to advise the PMI / Assistant PM regarding Full Certification Testing (Incl HIC), Complex IFE Installations, High Level Customers, Complex Seat Layouts, and Unique customer requested design solutions
- ability to maintain overall program timeline to support of agreed due dates at all times
- ability to Develop full scale project plan in MS Project
- ability to Manage ZACSA
- ability to Manage MS Tracking database updates
- ability to Negotiate due date changes with OEM and customers
- ability to Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support overall program baseline
- ability to Manage program scope and access the impact of scope changes
- ability to communicate with customers and stakeholders
- ability to Manage Master Change Proposals
- ability to Manage Program budget and coordinate budget changes as necessary
- ability to coordinate Service bulletin
- ability to manage program team to achieve project results
- ability to Lead program task and team meetings in an efficient manner
- ability to Follow up on open items with each individual prior to their due date
- ability to Agree and maintain OEM submittal requirements and due dates
- ability to Estimate resources and participants required achieve project goals
- ability to negotiate with department managers for the support of required personnel
- ability to Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- ability to continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- ability to Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- ability to Define priorities within the project and agree on delegation of tasks and responsibilities
- ability to Supervise all BFE activities, including the timely placement and receipt of BFE orders
- ability to Ensure IFE test equipment is loaded with correct software level and is functioning properly
- ability to Interface with OEM contact and provide regular program progress reports
- ability to Continuously monitor OEM ratings and negotiate or correct as required
- ability to Report program difficulties to the program review board and implement the decisions from review board
- ability to Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
- ability to adhere Department processes and procedures
- ability to Actively participate in team and PMO meetings to support process upgrades or develop new processes/ procedures
- ability to Develop and adhere to program management guidelines and standards for project execution
- ability to Prepare project audits and implement risk analysis using Recaro standards and tools
- ability to Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report
- ability to Obtain regular input from customers through customer surveys in accordance with department processes
- ability to take on the role as a mentor for less experienced colleagues (Assistant Program Manager / Program Manager I)
- ability to Provide training for Program Management Processes
- ability to Assist in customer meetings / preparations for customer meetings
- ability to Aid in the preparation of program presentations
- ability to Provide availability for question / answer sessions
