Job Summary
Program Manager II with responsibility for guiding the Future Air Defense portfolio by directing daily contract execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. Leads or supports all meetings and the integrated product team from kick-off through project close, interfaces with internal and external customers, and participates in bid and proposal activities. Collaborates with Engineering on development programs, potentially overseeing a team to plan and execute plans from start to finish, and may require 10-15% travel. Must be able to obtain a U.S. SECRET security clearance and operate in both non-classified and classified environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong customer interface skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willing and able to travel up to 15%
- Program Management certification preferred (i.e., PMP or DAU)
- U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
