Job Summary

Serve as the Government point of contact and provide supervision for personnel assigned to clinical informatics efforts. Develop effective project plans, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver on Project Work Statements, schedules, and budgets. Provide primary accountability for contract and customer relationship management while identifying and mitigating risks to cost, schedule, and performance. Oversee and manage several concurrent multi-million-dollar programs, directly arranging assignments to supporting facilities and business areas. Monitor program performance, review timesheets, and support team meetings to ensure staff productivity. Mentor HIT professionals, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding for high-caliber technical staff. Interact frequently with clients to safeguard scope and profitability while utilizing project management tools to track progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Well-versed in the theory and practice of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), including project management methodologies, tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
  • Experience managing Healthcare Information Technology projects
  • 2+ years of understanding in SAFe Scaled Agile Framework methodology
  • Experience with Power BI dashboards for project management
  • Expertise with the Veteran's Health Administration
  • Must have experience managing multiple multi-million-dollar programs
  • Ability to effectively manage senior and subject matter expert level staff
  • A master's degree or bachelor's plus 6 years relevant experience, or Associate's + 4 years relevant experience required in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
  • A bachelor's degree plus 2 years' experience may be used as an equivalent to a master's degree
  • An associate degree plus 4 years' experience may be used as an equivalent to a master's degree
  • Must be located in one of our hiring states of AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MD, MI, SC, TX, VA, WI or WV
  • Must have high speed internet connection
  • 15 years related project management or business, and Federal contracting experience is required
  • 6 - 9 years' experience managing multiple simultaneous projects of 1M or more
  • Excellent professional written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills required

Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt a plus
