Job Summary
Program Manager I to oversee multiple projects within the IAS/L3 area at SNC, managing budgets up to $20M, supervising program staff, and serving as the primary customer POC. Responsible for business resource planning, risk and opportunity management, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Role involves tracking program status and performance, leading a cross-functional team, conducting research for program needs, coordinating audits, and interfacing with customers and internal entities to ensure initiatives stay on cost, budget, and schedule. Requires collaboration across program life cycle, strong communication, leadership, and the ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in project or program management
- 1+ years' experience leading teams made up of 3+ cross functional team members
- Experience with evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes
- Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes
- Experience with contract negotiations and the difference in contract types
- Experience with managing multiple projects and/or a small program
- Experience with being the primary focal for a customer
- Demonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible
- Ability to execute coordination of all elements of a program
- Program lifecycle management
- Leadership abilities including mentoring, training, and accountability
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
- Advanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field (may be considered in lieu of 1 year of required experience)
- Experience with Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs)
- Understanding of ITAR, FAR and DFARS
- PMBOK knowledge
- Earned Value Management familiarity
- Experience with ISO 9001:2000 processes
- Strong leadership and change-management abilities
- Proposal and contract negotiation experience
- Experience with risk and opportunity management
- Experience with budgets and cost control up to multi-million dollars
Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance
- Active or ability to obtain security clearance per DoD requirements
