Job Summary
Program Manager I leads cross-functional, multi-site client programs in biologics-related development and manufacturing, responsible for delivering programs on time, within scope and budget, managing client communications, and coordinating with internal leadership and subject matter experts to drive project results. The role emphasizes driving program objectives, prioritizing tasks, managing scope/budget/schedule (including tech transfer), maintaining open collaboration with clients, providing progress updates, troubleshooting issues, and fostering partnerships across organizational levels to achieve high-quality deliverables. Candidates typically hold a B.S. in Science or Engineering (advanced degrees preferred) and have about 2 years of direct program-management experience in the pharmaceutical/biologics space; experience with Biologics Fermentation, Cell Culture, Purification and Analytics is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Science or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Advanced degree (M.S., M.B.A., PhD) is preferred.
- Approximately 2 years direct experience in project management and/or pharmaceutical industry.
- Working knowledge of Biologics Fermentation, Cell Culture, Purification and Analytics preferred.
- Professional experience in a related field such as Biologics, Biotechnology, Pharma preferred.
- Familiarity with project management software packages preferred.
