Job Summary
Provide current and future educational and training support for all staff, including aerospace and operational medicine training for DoD medical personnel. Maintain medical currency, comprehensive readiness skills, and deployment training while ensuring courses meet academic standards and wartime readiness requirements. Collect, monitor, and report training data related to readiness, compile site data, and develop reports to identify training shortfalls and program implementation barriers. Manage the Warrior Training Center scheduling and credential management for 711th personnel, deconflict training requirements, and provide regular feedback to AF/SG Consultants and Career Field Managers through the Comprehensive Medical Readiness Program. Present complex information clearly and concisely to ensure work aligns with USAFSAM organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a medical related environment
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience
- Minimum four (4) years' experience in a medical related environment
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with word processing software, PowerPoint and SharePoint applications
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable Air Force and professional standards
- Knowledge of military and civilian guidelines that govern policy and procedure, successful completion of USAFSAM's and Department's orientation programs
- Knowledge/experience/understanding of Comprehensive Medical Readiness Program, Training Affiliation Agreements, nursing competencies, and obtaining continuing education units
- Proficient in building Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
- Experience with Excel, spreadsheet and data collection
- Knowledge of the Joint Trauma Service and Air Force Medical Service Clinical Practice Guidelines, and educational delivery methods
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
