Job Summary

Conduct Reserve Component Transition Assistance Advisor support services across the 50 states, three territories, and the District of Columbia to serve as points of contact and resource coordinators for military managers, service members, families, and Veterans. Ensure standardization and continuity of service by providing technical support regarding benefits and entitlements under Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs laws. Develop approaches for promoting lessons learned, streamline activities, and propose solutions for functional improvements while attending conferences to stay informed on National Guard communications. Maintain compliance, quality control, and safety standards for virtual and in-person classrooms. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of related staff training and management experience, U.S. citizenship, and a valid driver's license. Salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

Required Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of ARNG Family Readiness programs, Financial Education programs, and the ARNG structure at the state level
  • Interpersonal skills and team building skills to effectively take part in instructional duties for National Guard Family Readiness Program staff instruction
  • Knowledge of standing operating procedures and the ability to interpret guidance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Power Point, Excel, Word, Access
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least five years of related to staff training and management, family readiness and/or human resources
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Pass an employer background check
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and must be able to drive a rental car

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred with a strong training background utilizing the ADDIE methodology
