Job Summary
Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for electrical power distribution initiatives, proactively identifying bottlenecks and streamlining workflows from order entry through shipment. Lead multidisciplinary teams across Sales, Engineering, Production, and Quality while overseeing third-party subcontractors to ensure deliverables meet strict quality and schedule standards. Serve as the primary liaison for customer interactions, defining specifications, managing lead times, and resolving critical issues. Own project budgets, execute margin improvement strategies, and drive factory inspections and quality checks to guarantee compliance with technical specifications. Coordinate final logistics, site-delivery requirements, and critical documentation including submittals and technical data packages. Travel to supplier and customer sites at reasonable notice, with peaks exceeding 50% per month.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or related technical field
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment
- Experience using ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Available to travel with peaks >50% per month
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Business or Engineering (e.g., MBA, MS, or equivalent)
- PMP certification or formal project management training
- Experience with engineered-to-order or manufacturing environments
- Understanding of UL, NEC, and industry standards
- Experience coordinating FATs, field testing, or commissioning activities
- Experience focusing on single customer account
