Job Summary
Lead the transition of a medium-sized IT system to a new program, ensuring seamless migration and minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Oversee all aspects of IT modernization and transformation initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery for Windows and Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, storage appliances, and associated management software. Coordinate resources, implement IT Service Management best practices, and apply Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors. Communicate status, milestones, and deliverables to leadership and ensure compliance with organizational policies and security standards. Requires 10 to 12+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Agile Scrum, and IT transformation planning, along with an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance
- 10 to 12+ years of experience in DevSecOps
- 10 to 12+ years of experience in Agile Scrum Project Management
- 10 to 12+ years of experience in IT Transformation Planning
- 10 to 12+ years of experience in Technology Strategy Planning
- Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with IT Service Management frameworks
- Experience with system migrations, particularly involving hybrid environments of both Windows and Linux
- Exposure to container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Hands-on knowledge of storage solutions and endpoint management tools
- Background in leading IT modernization or transformation initiatives, especially those requiring coordination across multiple technology domains
