Program Manager - Energy & Sustainability

Job Summary
Steer global energy, water, and waste programs across sites and regions while managing a ~€20 million CapEx budget. Develop project roadmaps, validate proposals, and prioritize investments up to €2M with sustainability approvals. Forecast Scope 1&2 emissions and resource targets by site/region; maintain KPI scorecards and share best practices. Coordinate core program teams of ~10 and engage 100+ site experts to lead through influence. Communicate progress to senior management and select regional and site leads. Located in Burlington, MA or St. Louis, MO; no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Energy, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, energy and water efficiency best practices, and building automation & controls
- Experience with commercial/industrial building systems, plus data analytics, forecasting, planning, and change management
- Preference for candidate to be located in Burlington, MA or St. Louis, MO
- Minimum Qualifications

- Knowledge of WRI Greenhouse Gas protocol accounting standards
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, forecasting, and data analytics
- Experience with environmental accounting software (CR/UL360 or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication skills with data-driven storytelling
- Experience balancing multiple priorities and leading virtual teams
