Job Summary
Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day activities for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, developing procedures for administration and assisting with strategic planning. Conduct programs including leadership training, conferences, seminars, and workshops while supervising support staff and student assistants. Manage the program website, maintain departmental handbooks, and coordinate faculty travel and purchase orders. Track revenues and expenditures, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain office supply inventory. Assist with accreditation reports, new faculty orientation, and student application processing from PTCAS. Schedule faculty meetings, distribute minutes, and plan special events such as orientation and graduation ceremonies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
- Five years of related experience
- Knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
- Prior experience in external accreditation in any healthcare field
- Ability to Multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem solving and organizational skills
- Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment
- Supervision of Others
- Evening and/or weekend hours
- On-campus, face-to-face interactions
- Regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace
- Subject to a criminal history investigation
- Completion of a criminal history check
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with academic software systems, budget and database management, and other computer and videoconferencing technology
