Job Summary
Lead the design and deployment of instructional strategies for technical training, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in electric operations. Create engaging, inclusive, and accessible instructional materials while collaborating with subject matter experts to develop content and assessments. Manage curriculum strategy, version control systems, and vendor engagements to ensure high-quality, learner-centered content delivery across various platforms. Refresh current programs to maintain centralized control and ensure alignment with ANSI, OSHA, and NERC standards. Lead projects from conception to launch, monitor effectiveness using data-driven metrics, and provide training to technical trainers on best practices.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in relevant field of study
- 5-8 years relevant experience in a training or educational related field
- Associates degree in relevant field of study
- 8+ years of experience in a training or educational related field
- 3-5 years of experience managing projects, programs or initiatives
- strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI)
- Experience with LMS Platforms (Workday)
- Expertise with adult learning theory and assessment strategies
- Expertise with adult instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile) ensuring alignment with ANSI, OSHA, NERC and other relevant standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills
- Experience in operational processes or methodology
- Must be a citizen of the country of the vacancy or comply with applicable immigration requirements to legally work in that country
