Job Summary
Lead operational planning and administration for the Continuing Education Health Sciences (CEHS) programs. Manage staffing, performance standards, and budgeting; provide direction to ensure alignment with Broward College’s mission. Oversee clinical requirements, program logistics, and day-to-day division operations. Supervise staff and adjunct faculty, coordinate course schedules, room assignments, and staffing to ensure quality of continuing education programs and student success. Cultivate partnerships with hospitals and community agencies to create career pipelines in healthcare; assist in developing new programs to meet industry needs; manage recruitment plans, marketing strategies, and enrollment growth through promotional materials, community events, webinars, and other outreach. Maintain budgets and financial assets for the assigned area and department; collaborate with Counseling, Registration, Learning Resources, and Instructional Technology. Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills; leverage LMS knowledge and data to drive program improvements. Demonstrate integrity and effective verbal and written communication; uphold Broward College’s values and contribute to a culture of quality and service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in supervision and management or related field required
- Five years of experience in business related solutions with three years of supervisory or lead experience required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

- Professional Healthcare credential preferred (e.g., Medical Assistant)
- Familiarity with health science non-credit programs preferred
- Strong knowledge of LMS (Learning Management Systems)
- Experience developing course content and implementation CEHS programs
- Strong negotiation and budgeting skills
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to plan and manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to collaborate with external partners (hospitals and community agencies)
- Experience with marketing strategies and enrollment growth
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications
- Understanding of college structure and policies
- Experience in staffing, hiring, termination, and performance management
- Ability to analyze data sets and evaluate program outcomes
