Job Summary
Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing, oversee team performance through communication and training, and develop activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum. Communicate with families and guardians as needed while ensuring individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP, including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management. Complete program documentation and billable records accurately, monitor health and medical needs, and maintain work locations and vehicles with necessary supplies. Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections. Requires a Bachelor's degree preferred, two years' experience, and a valid driver's license. Schedule may include evening and weekend hours with on-call rotation. Starting pay is $55,000/year.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
- Ability to work in residential programs, day programs, and in the community
- Availability for evening and weekend hours
- Ability to be on-call in cooperation with other management staff
