Job Summary
Manage staff schedules, oversee team performance through training and meetings, and develop activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum. Communicate with families and guardians, ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP regarding medication, meals, and behavior, and maintain accurate program documentation and billable records. Monitor health needs and report concerns immediately, while ensuring work locations and vehicles remain clean and stocked with supplies. Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or investigations. This role involves evening and weekend hours with potential on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
- Ability to work in residential programs, day programs, and in the community
- Availability for evening and weekend hours
- Ability to be on-call in cooperation with other management staff
