Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include leading and training the team to achieve programmatic goals, managing team performance through effective communication, managing staff schedules, developing and updating Individual Support Plans, monitoring finances and health needs of individuals, and ensuring timely and accurate program documentation and billable records. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with three years of relevant experience, including two years of managerial experience in the IDD field.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of relevant experience
- Minimum two years experience with IDD
- Minimum two years managerial experience
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Complete all state and agency required training per state guidelines
- Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with problem solving against multiple priorities
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
Additional Requirements
- Employees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
