Job Summary
Oversee multiple concurrent transportation projects, managing financial oversight, funding, reimbursement, and budget tracking while monitoring quality, schedule, and performance. Coordinate technical design reviews, chair meetings regarding utilities and right-of-way, and administer contracts with state and federal grant agencies like PennDOT and FHWA. Mentor project managers and staff, implement the Quality Management Plan, and stay current on construction techniques and regulatory requirements. Travel as required and attend mandatory training.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible engineering design or engineering design management related experience
- Proficiency in PennDOT Design Manuals 1 through 5, and applicable manuals, such as PennDOT Publications 93 and 740
- Applied knowledge of DOT and FHWA policies and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work in the United States to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Project Management Professional preferred
