Job Summary
Program Manager to lead and operationalize a newly created Running to Lead program. Own program logistics across trainings, workshops, simulations, and cohort learning; translate goals into detailed workplans, timelines, and deliverables; coordinate trainers, elected officials, and campaign professionals; lead outreach and selection to build diverse cohorts; track metrics and report to leadership and funders. Build structure and processes for program from the ground up, working closely with the Executive Director to recruit participants, coordinate trainers, and ensure smooth program execution. Requires experience in program management, political campaigns, civic engagement, or leadership development; strong PM and stakeholder-management skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams; comfort with a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in program management, political campaigns, civic engagement, or leadership development
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Demonstrated understanding of campaign dynamics, electoral politics, or public leadership pathways
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Openness to diverse viewpoints and a belief that meaningful change begins with personal growth and self-reflection
