Job Summary

Program Manager for the Center for Opportunity, Race and Justice at NAACP Empowerment Programs, Inc. responsible for leading a portfolio of strategic projects, executing project plans, and delivering reports and deliverables. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining processes for campaigns and initiatives, coordinating internal and external resources to meet schedule and budget, developing resources and materials, coordinating team and committee meetings, tracking multi-year initiatives and grant-funded work, delivering high-quality written communications to diverse audiences, and serving as a liaison to stakeholders while leveraging tools to ensure efficiency and quality of work.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three to five years’ experience in program/project management or related field
  • Experience in non-profit, policy, advocacy, or other civil rights organizations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and related Project Management Software
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Lean or Six Sigma methodologies experience; Six Sigma Certification preferred
