Job Summary
Oversee daily operations, staffing, and budget management for the new Buckelew Employment Service (BES) team utilizing the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. Guide staff in planning client care, provide crisis intervention, and deliver IPS services to a caseload of two to three people while ensuring fidelity through quarterly reviews and quality improvement plans. Manage schedules, hire and supervise volunteers, and act as a liaison to external partners including police, fire departments, and local governments. Share monthly client outcomes with the IPS team and support strategic planning, compliance with CARF and CCL standards, and community outreach to increase job pathways. Requires Master's degree, five years behavioral health experience, and valid California driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Nursing, or related field; or certification as a Peer Support Specialist, Patient Navigator, Community Health Advocate, or in Alcohol/Drug Counseling
- Minimum five years' experience in a behavioral health organization
- At least five years of supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of family and group dynamics, crisis management, treatment planning, and documentation requirements
- Fluency in English
- Valid California driver's license, insurable driving record, and reliable transportation
- Must pass a LiveScan fingerprint background check
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform intermittent activities such as bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to sustain extended activities including driving, standing, typing, writing, and sitting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Experience working with first responders
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- First Aid/CPR certification
