Job Summary
Ensure all required resources, including engineering, manpower, and facilities, are available for the program. Plan, direct, and monitor the program budget while serving as the primary customer contact for program information. Manage programs of varying dollar values based on complexity, potentially handling business development with current or new customers. Maintain a Secret level security clearance and possess fifteen years of experience in DOD or Navy acquisition program management. This role supports the Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM in Washington, D.C.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering scientific, business, or technical discipline.
- PMP certification required.
- Fifteen (15) years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition; or Fifteen (15) years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition
- Five (5) years of Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
- Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Naval Science and Technology (S&T) Strategies and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs; Foreign Military Sales highly desired
- Must be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
- Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
- US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract.
