Job Summary
Program Manager for Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs at Tyonek, serving as the primary interface between Tyonek and government program authorities. Oversees execution of contract requirements for MPF work, manages program resources and budgets, ensures on-time CDRL delivery, coordinates with Navy/Marine Corps leadership, conducts risk and change management, leads a diverse team, and provides regular program updates and readiness reporting. Requires extensive Marine Corps logistics knowledge, experience with government contracts and FAR/DFAR guidance, strong communication with government counterparts, ability to travel up to 30% (OCONUS), and a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of progressively responsible program management experience; Secret clearance eligibility and PMP/PgMP credentials are a plus. Masters degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years managing programs
- 5+ years program and project management in government contracts
- Interpretation of contracts, statements of work/performance work statements, and contract modifications
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR, DoD regulations, requirements, policies/procedures
- Experience with Aviation Support Equipment (ASE)
- Superior communication skills interfacing with government contracting officers and customer representatives
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- PMP or PgMP certification is a plus
- Planning systems for workload projection and work orders in coordination with government planning groups
- Minimum 4+ years in supervisory capacity leading technical teams in maritime or naval logistics
- Familiarity with MPF concepts and MSC-managed vessels
- Experience supporting Navy/Marine Corps proposal development and reviews
- Comprehensive knowledge of MPF programs and operations
- NAVSUP NAVFAC NAVSUP P-485 P-300 P-723 knowledge
- Environmental and safety compliance awareness
- Minimum 15 years of technical program/project support experience
- Minimum 8 years in program or deputy program management roles in equipment maintenance, supply chain, logistics, and budgeting
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. passport
