Job Summary

Plan and oversee programme activities across 416 districts in 29 States, developing detailed implementation plans and timelines. Monitor progress, track indicators, and prepare periodic reports to ensure measurable outcomes and sustainable impact. Coordinate with government agencies, donors, and civil society partners to facilitate effective delivery and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Supervise programme staff, build capacity through mentoring, and manage budgets while ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and safeguarding standards. Identify implementation challenges, recommend corrective actions, and document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in programme quality and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Development Studies, Public Policy, Sociology, Public Administration, Rural Development, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in programme management within the development or child protection sector
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and donor-funded programmes
  • Demonstrated experience in programme planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Strong programme planning and project management skills
  • Knowledge of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks
  • Experience in donor reporting and programme documentation
  • Budget monitoring and financial management skills
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Understanding of child protection systems, safeguarding, and relevant laws and policies
  • Plans, coordinates, and delivers programmes effectively
  • Ensures timely achievement of programme objectives
  • Supervises, mentors, and motivates programme teams
  • Promotes collaboration and accountability
  • Aligns programme activities with organisational priorities
  • Anticipates challenges and develops practical solutions
