Program Manager - Autism Supports / Program for Exceptional Students

Job Summary
Coordinate specialized autism programming and oversee Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation across multiple school sites. Supervise special education teachers and paraprofessionals while designing, evaluating, and supporting evidence-based interventions for students ages 3-22. Manage staffing needs, budget preparation, and legal due process situations to ensure compliance with district and federal special education policies. Develop and monitor data collection systems for skill acquisition and behavior reduction, facilitating progress monitoring and modifying intervention programs as necessary. Serve as a liaison between the district, families, and private therapists to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and maintain consistency in Behavioral Intervention Plans.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Special Education or related area from an accredited educational institution
- Certification in Educational Leadership
- Georgia certification in Exceptional Student Education
- Preferred Adapted Curriculum Certification
- Restraint training
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in the area of Exceptional Student Education
- Experience with individuals with moderate to severe autism spectrum disorder
- Experience with significant interfering problem behaviors
- Demonstrated experience with implementing skill acquisition programs
- Demonstrated experience with implementing function-based behavior support plans
- Proficiency in ABA methodologies
- Proficiency in teaching techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Understanding of child development
- Understanding of curriculum and instructional materials used at various grade levels
