Job Summary
Oversee all staff and direct care issues within the Fresh Start Program, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective management of services for residents in group living settings. Coordinate all services offered to each resident, including helping families understand separation effects, maintaining family relationships, and assisting residents in developing functional interpersonal skills. Convey resident needs to staff to promote positive adjustment while maintaining weekly communication with the Regional Program Manager for oversight. A master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling is required, along with experience working with children and residential facility management.
Required Qualifications
- A master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
- A baccalaureate degree in social work or psychology with documented field work experience and must be supervised by the program director or other staff employed by the provider with the same qualifications as required by 22VAC40-151-290 D
- A baccalaureate degree and three years of professional experience working with children
- QMHP
- Master's degree in a human services field with three or more years' experience with children, one of which is in a residential facility
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field required with five or more years' experience with children two of which are in a residential facility
- Two or more years in group home management/supervision or similar experience
