Job Summary

Oversee daily operations of Intensive Case Management Teams at Project-based Housing sites, including crisis management, clinical supervision, and coordination of services for clients with complex trauma and substance use barriers. Facilitate weekly team meetings and case consultations while serving as the primary liaison between agency DHS staff and the ICMS team to ensure funder standards are met. Provide administrative supervision to Bachelors- and Masters-level case managers, manage staffing, and ensure accurate documentation through ongoing audits. Assist with client screening, enrollment, and securing housing and community resources, while maintaining 24-hour availability for emergency calls and incidents. Collaborate with housing developers, property managers, and community partners to develop interventions for marginalized clients, ensuring diverse and equitable hiring practices.

Required Qualifications

  • MSW, MFT, LPCC or PsyD who is registered with CA BBS (supervision hours are available for this position)
  • Licensed preferred, but must be license eligible
  • Minimum of two (2) years' full-time experience working with the homeless, preferably those living with mental illness and/or substance addictions
  • Able to provide direct supervision and management of assigned staff
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and team building skills
  • Able to work in a high tolerance Harm Reduction model with clients who have multiple barriers
  • Able to learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and minimal supervision
  • Self-starter with the ability to stay ahead of the curve and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Current, valid Driver's with an acceptable driving record
  • Able to be on-call 24/7 with support from direct clinical supervisor and Housing Department Director
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 lbs
  • On occasion walk or drive to different local sites
  • Will necessitate working in busy and loud environments
  • Will be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odor
  • May need to bend, stoop, twist and sit throughout the day
  • Field (may need to travel) and indoor office environment
