Job Summary
Conduct assigned oversight of conceptual, preliminary, and final design activities, procurement, field construction, and contractor programs for DOE Hanford Field Office Tank Waste Operations. Monitor equipment startup, procedure compliance, and troubleshooting while evaluating test engineer decision-making and resolving non-compliance reports. Observe Safety System Startup Testing, review Documented Safety Analysis, and assess test deficiency report resolutions for technical acceptability. Provide written documentation of contractor performance and produce weekly assessments recorded in the Integrated Contractor Assurance database. Brief line management on oversight results and facilitate decision-making, while participating in weekly coordination meetings and senior management team meetings. Utilize specialized project management experience to execute tasks with minimal supervision and support organizational strategies within the AMTWO management team.
Required Qualifications
- 25 years engineering, construction, commissioning and management experience on DOE projects
- Extensive business experience in applying analysis techniques, performing various types of reviews, and developing process improvements
- At least 5 years of experience performing oversight for HFO Tank Farms waste transfer project
- Experience with HFO/TWO engineering and requirements
- Experience with performing oversight activities and communicating results to leadership
- Capable of reading, interpreting, and understanding DOE program and project management practices, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities
- Documented work experience on their resume that clearly supports all minimum qualifications and demonstrates the capability to successfully perform the tasks outlined in the SOW
- United States Citizenship
- Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA
