Job Summary
Develop comprehensive project plans integrating supplier schedules, logistics, quality control, and billing requirements. Own program financial performance by forecasting revenue, monitoring margins, tracking expenditures, and managing cash flow impacts. Lead cross-functional teams through all project lifecycle phases, assigning tasks and resolving issues via stakeholder conferencing. Manage Integrated Master Schedules to align timelines, resources, and deliverables while ensuring deadlines are met. Coordinate with vendors to guarantee timely, compliant product delivery and maintain strong subcontractor relationships. Prepare status presentations for leadership and distribute clear project communications to employees, clients, and suppliers. Implement risk registers for open licensing orders and monitor team performance to support development and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or a similar tool.
- Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery from start to finish.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems – preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive positive outcomes across manufacturing projects.
- Foundational understanding of finance and project financials, with the ability to make informed decisions that affect program cost, margin, and overall project health.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing or engineering environment, including 2+ years in project or program management.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to work on-site in Torrance, CA as business needs require
Desired Qualifications
- Background implementing or managing continuous improvement processes.
- Knowledge of quality assurance or Quality Management System (QMS) practices.
