Job Summary
Lead program planning, budget management, and execution for high-complexity new product development initiatives across multiple global sites. Define product specifications, manage internal and external suppliers, and ensure alignment with market expectations regarding specifications, timing, and budget. Provide technical leadership to program teams, schedule internal meetings, and communicate status to customers and functional management. Manage risks through root cause analysis and alternatives while enforcing Design for Manufacturability principles and capacity planning. Submit capital requests, review product costing, and make decisions to optimize time to market and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from a four-year university
- 4+ years related experience and/or training within the connector industry
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical product drawings
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures
- Ability to write reports
- Ability to write business correspondence
- Ability to write procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to respond to questions from various levels of management
- Ability to effectively manage customer communication
- Ability to manage customer expectations
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written form
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral form
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in diagram form
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in schedule form
- Knowledge and skills using Project Management software
- Knowledge and skills using Spreadsheet software (Excel)
