Job Summary
Program Manager sought to oversee operations of a certified Residential Treatment Program in California. Responsible for training and accountability of program staff, ensuring adequate staffing and scheduling across shifts, maintaining compliance with policies, licensing, and accreditation standards, handling HR activities including hiring and disciplinary actions, emergency issue resolution, and monitoring program performance and costs within budgetary guidelines. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of mental health experience with 1+ year of management, plus relevant licenses/credentials and a valid CA driver’s license. In-person work location in Costa Mesa, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field with relevant coursework (minimum 24 semester units in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Behavioral sciences, or Psychiatric Nursing)
- Two years of full-time experience in a community program serving clients with mental illness, including one year supervising direct care staff (or four years direct service experience with one year supervising staff)
- Licensure/credentials: LADC or SUDCC-CS II or LMFT or LPCC or LCSW or equivalent
- 3+ years of mental health experience and 1+ year management experience
- Valid CA Driver's License
- Current Health Screen / Physical
- TB Test Clearance
- Current CPR/First Aid certificate
- Live Scan clearance
- Ability to pass Live Scan
- Experience in hiring/interviewing within staffing guidelines
- Experience managing an inpatient/outpatient treatment facility
- Ability to manage employees and ensure adherence to HR policies
- Knowledge of regulatory licensing and accreditation requirements
- Ability to monitor program metrics and manage costs within budget
