Job Summary

Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program objectives, identify risks, and recommend solutions for complex aircraft and weapons system acquisition efforts. Analyze requirements, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with acquisition goals, while tracking milestones and deliverables for timely execution. Conduct cost and performance trade analyses, develop acquisition strategies, and perform management, technical, and business case analyses to support decision-making. Collaborate with government leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Department of Defense policies. Requires active Secret Security Clearance and on-site presence in Patuxent River, MD.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 to 10 years experience performing duties described in the functional requirements
  • Experience developing and executing integrated Government schedules
  • Experience developing and executing budget and phasing plans
  • Experience with cost and performance trades
  • Experience with utilizing Microsoft Projects
  • Experience evaluating program objectives, requirements, budgets, schedules, and performance
  • Demonstrated experience conduction management, technical, or business case analyses
  • Experience supporting aircraft, weapons systems, or related defense acquisitions programs
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate across multiple stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of War and Department of Navy Acquisition programs
  • Experience developing acquisition strategies for complex defense programs
  • Experience developing and executing integrated government schedules
  • Experience developing, managing, and executing program budgets and phasing plans
  • Experience performing cost, schedule, and performance trade analyses
  • Knowledge of DOW acquisition policies, processes, and lifecycle management
