Job Summary
Oversee full site operations as direct manager to the Hopkinton Site, leading diverse teams with autonomy across the full project life cycle from inception through production. Manage program execution, business development, and customer intimacy while driving solution development, capture efforts, and successful technical performance, schedule, and budget management. Directly influence site growth through proposal management, new business capture, and strategy while serving as the main interface with customers and leadership. Support RF and mechanical design, design for manufacturability, and engineering resources co-located within the facility, engaging hands-on with floor operations and customer development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience
- OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience
- Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry, with design, development and/or production of antenna apertures and passive RF components
- Project or Program Leadership experience: scheduling, budgets, product costing, Cost Account Management (CAM), internal and external customer interface, reports and presentations, PDR's CDR,s etc
- Experience in at least one of the following areas of business development: proposal management, customer development, new business capture, business management and strategy
- Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated Secret Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company
- Commitment to quality and customer service, fostering and leading in a culture of continuous improvement
- Proficient in MS Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Active Government Secret Security Clearance
- Background in design for manufacturability and a general understanding of manufacturing processes such as dip-brazing, plating, painting, machining
- Demonstrated ability to develop product designs independently, and verify those designs through prototype fabrication and testing
- Understanding of mechanical drawings and geometric tolerance
- Experience in the creation and execution of Acceptance Test Plans and Qualification Test Plans as required
- Ability to work cooperatively with and through a diverse team to execute multiple projects from kick off through completion
- Experience managing a large, diverse program portfolio consisting of contracts varying from 100K to $8M
- Proposal writing experience and business development support
- Working with the customer to develop a solution and associated tailoring of the customer's specification
- Experience with generation of SOWs and Supplier SOWs, specifications reviews, compliance reviews, including pricing and schedule support for the proposed solution
- Working experience with the test and measurement of antenna and RF passive components, utilizing Orbit FR 959 far field and scanning range test equipment such as a vector network analyzer (VNA)
- Background in electromagnetics, high Power RF components: Waveguides and Coaxial
- Quadridge Antenna design, Broad band component design
- Familiarity with MRP systems, specifically SAP
- Functional or people management experience
- General AS9100 quality system requirements
