Job Summary
Own overall program execution, meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance targets while establishing project baselines and resource allocation plans. Manage all phases of programs from inception through completion, acting as the primary customer contact to lead review sessions and ensure scope and technical requirements are met. Identify and apply actions for risks, issues, and opportunities in terms of cost, schedule, and deliverables. Coordinate win strategies, competitive captures, and compliant proposals to support business growth, while deploying quality assurance processes and adhering to the Quality Management System. Participate in contract negotiations, reporting, and changes, ensuring impactful communications with internal and external stakeholders. Requires US government security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years professional experience in project/program management in commercial or defense industry
- Knowledge of program management tools and processes such as Earned Value Management (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and/or Risk/Opportunity/Issue Management
- Experience working government projects/programs with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and/or new applications
- Prior exposure to all product lifecycles
- Bachelor's degree (major in engineering, computer science, business, or related technical field)
- US government security clearance
