Job Summary
The Program Manager 1 oversees the execution of small to medium-sized projects/programs of moderate complexity, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance targets are met. Responsibilities include developing resource allocation plans, managing customer relationships, leading review sessions, and identifying project risks and opportunities. Candidates should have knowledge of program management tools and experience with government projects. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5 years of project/program management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (major in engineering, computer science, business, or related technical field preferred)
- 5 years professional experience in project/program management in commercial or defense industry
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of program management tools and processes such as Earned Value Management (EVMS)
- Experience working on government projects/programs
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
