Job Summary

Program Management Engineer responsible for supporting the management and delivery of civil engineering programs and projects in transportation and water resources. Focus areas include broader business side of engineering, program strategy, grant applications, risk and resiliency planning, and stakeholder coordination with utilities, irrigation entities, and clients. Responsibilities span coordinating deliverables, preparing reports and memos, managing scheduling and funding, facilitating meetings, and providing owner’s representation and client service. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of civil-engineering project management experience, strong communication skills, and an EI designation in Colorado (PE preferred).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years of experience in the management of civil engineering projects
  • Active Engineer Intern (EI) designation in Colorado or another state
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organization and customer service skills
  • Experience with Colorado DOT (or other state DOT) plan preparation procedures and standards is a plus
  • Active Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, but not required
