Job Summary
Lead statewide planning, implementation, and coordination for rural systems-building and partnership initiatives focused on community health, resilience, and capacity. Develop collaborative relationships with Texas A&M System institutions, governmental agencies, and nonprofits to strengthen intermediary infrastructure and cross-sector collaboration. Manage operational activities including project work plans, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement strategies for the statewide rural intermediary model. Oversee program databases, compile performance statistics, and support grant development and reporting to inform decision-making. Administer program budgets, manage fiscal coordination, and may supervise program staff while maintaining full compliance with system and university training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
- Four (4) years of related experience
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task, set priorities, track projects, and meet deadlines
- Ability to use discretion, sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize information for effective presentation and present to virtual and in-person groups
- Ability to work in a professional, fast-paced environment with individuals and groups from a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
- Must be a disciplined self-starter who is goal-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong relationship building skills and follow through
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Ability to synthesize data and compile reports
- Able to adapt, be flexible, and maintain a positive work environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term
- Must be properly registered with the Selective Service System (for males age 18 through 25)
