Job Summary
Lead after-school program activities for diverse youth, facilitating social-emotional learning, homework help, enrichment activities, and clubs such as career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance. Maintain a safe, engaging environment, supervise student well-being, and adapt activities to students’ needs. Communicate with students and parents, and contribute to creating memorable learning experiences. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2pm–6pm (minimum day adjustments possible), with reliable commute required. English-Spanish bilingual skills are a plus and may help the resume stand out; candidates must meet TB test, Live Scan, and vaccination documentation requirements when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in after-school programs or youth recreation
- Good communication skills with kids and parents
- College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units completed OR pass academic proficiency exam
- TB test and negative result
- Live Scan background check
- COVID-19 vaccination documentation (if required by the school)
