Program Leader (Balboa ASP)

Program Leader at Balboa ASP oversees and implements academic and enrichment activities for high school youth in the Balboa High School After School and Summer Programs. Responsibilities include designing curriculum and project-based activities, providing academic tutoring, maintaining a positive learning environment, applying restorative practices to resolve conflicts, creating marketing materials to recruit and retain youth, coordinating with school staff and families, collecting data and preparing program reports for funders, participating in staff meetings and training, and maintaining spaces. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or 48 college units or instructional aide exam), knowledge of youth development, experience planning/enriching activities, classroom management and conflict mediation, experience with diverse youth and families, strong organizational and communication skills, multitasking ability, proficiency with Google Docs/Sheets and MS Office, bilingual ability in Cantonese/Mandarin (Spanish is a plus), and the ability to lift 25 lbs.
