Job Summary
Facilitate efficient oversight of rehabilitation services in assigned accounts, ensuring coordination of services meets highest standards and referral sources are informed. Monitor adherence to established plans of care, department schedules, and timely documentation while providing direct patient care and routine customer relations touch points. Coordinate Powerback Rehabilitation personnel within facility or home care contracts, making referrals to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs. Support staff development, promote clinical programs, and assist the Clinical Operations Area Director in meeting annual budget goals and securing new contracts. Develop relationships with facility management teams and ensure clinical management of the rehab department is overseen by a licensed therapist.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- U.S. equivalent evaluation for Physical Therapy degrees earned outside of the U.S.
- three years direct patient care experience
- one year of management experience
- thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing
