Job Summary
Program Lead responsible for creating and managing club programs, drawing on BGCA.net and other clubs for best practices, supervising and motivating part-time staff and volunteers, and engaging with community partners to bring in new programs. Must ensure safety of program areas, maintain club equipment, adhere to safety policies (including PPE and health practices), and participate in surveys to gather member feedback. Requires knowledge of customer service, working with children, program development and management, and the ability to create programs that advance youth development. The role involves collaboration with the grants director to obtain information from members and may include interviewing/hiring support and maintaining ongoing contact with program staff, administration, members, and parents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher
- Must be 18 or older
- Experience in a youth serving organization preferred
- Demonstrated ability to create a positive environment for all youth
- Experience with creating/managing programs preferred
- Experience leading peers
