Job Summary
Supports training initiatives, learning initiatives, administrative operations, and cross-departmental special projects within Program Services. Under the Director of Program Practice and Innovation, coordinates trainings, logistics for workshops/meetings, development and distribution of training materials, and supports innovation and program development through research and pilot initiatives. Provides administrative and operational support including scheduling, invoice/expense tracking, purchase requests, payment reconciliation, and coordination with Finance. Maintains organized project documentation, timelines, training records, and resource libraries to ensure effective implementation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience; this is a full-time role based in New York, NY (hybrid).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Two years of relevant experience
- Experience in trainings, project coordination, workforce development, program operations, or organizational initiatives
- Experience in homeless services, social services, behavioral health, or related nonprofit setting (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, organizational development, social work, human services, humanities, communications, or a related field
- Two years of experience supporting trainings, project coordination, workforce development initiatives, program operations, or organizational initiatives
- Experience in homeless services, social services, behavioral health, or related nonprofit setting (strongly preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal relationship-building
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Canva, PowerPoint, virtual meeting platforms, and training or learning management platforms
