Job Summary
Manage day-to-day site recruitment, consultation, and project management for Clinical Studies Division activities targeting hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Identify and cultivate high-level partner relationships with hospitals, health systems, and payors to achieve program enrollment goals. Serve as primary account manager, overseeing onboarding, quality improvement metrics, and data monitoring within registry tools. Develop targeted education materials, facilitate training, and lead national conference logistics including booth planning and volunteer engagement. Drive independent project oversight for observational and prospective clinical studies, ensuring timely delivery of research infrastructure and proposal submissions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in healthcare or in a public health-related organization, clinical registries, patient registries, clinical studies or quality improvement programs
- Experience with multitasking and prioritizing and re-prioritizing tasks associated with time-sensitive deliverable
- Ability to function and drive work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact and engage with clinicians and C-suite, ideally in hospital setting
- Experience with program/project management, including experience in influencing performance without direct line accountability
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communications skills, including communication with clinical leadership
- Experience with clinical trial operations and oversight in academic or healthcare research environments
- Experience with account management and sales success/business development
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of American Heart Association staff, volunteers, and the public
- Ability to travel up to 10% local and overnight stay

- Master's degree preferred
