Job Summary
Provide instruction in a variety of water fitness classes while delivering top-notch customer service to patrons. Teach groups and individuals during evening sessions, including substitute coverage when needed. Attend mandatory in-service training and deliver first aid and emergency rescue as required. Maintain assigned equipment with care and demonstrate self-motivation to improve knowledge and skills. This part-time role supports the City of O'Fallon's Recreation team, offering a flexible schedule with a starting rate of $25.00 hourly. Candidates must hold specialized certification from a nationally recognized organization such as ACE, AFAA, or NASM.
Required Qualifications
- Have evening availability
- Know first aid and CPR
- Have specialized certification training from a nationally recognized organization, such as ACE, AFAA, or NASM Group Exercise Certification
- Exhibit self-motivation by always looking for ways to improve their knowledge and skills
- Show great respect for others and their property
- Maintain their assigned equipment with care
